How rare is an EKI to a pilot engraved with "Mein Erster Abschuss" and his name and the date of the kill? I have his Soldbuch (the EKI date matches) and pilot's badge as well.

They are very rare. Very rare. So rare that real EK1s are altered with false entries. That is not saying that yours is fake, it is just that they are faked.

That's why they need to be seen and examined carefully.

I think we would all like to see the award and SB. Please post some photos.

Yes, I am sure they are heavily faked. This set comes from a very advanced collector who is just thinning a little and I will bring the set to the Max.

I would prefer not to post the engraving but might send an email if you like.
