Help Please Identifying these WWI Items

The grandson of a WWI veteran recently contacted me with a number of items that had belonged to his grandfather, including two WWI German bayonets and a US trench knife. He then contacted me again with a few of additional items, including an Indian Wars medal and a Spanish American War medal, so apparently he had a long military career.

Included in this group were the following two items, both marked Reims with one dated 1914. Originally the loop on the circular medal was run through the reverse pin on the clasp. I unattached them for the pictures. Has anyone seen anything like these before? Do they have any value or are they basically like an Imperial tinnie (albeit very well made and solid)?

I appreciate all opinions and comments. I thank you in advance.

Reverses. Sorry for the fuzzy picture of the top item...didn't realize it was that bad, but perhaps you can still make out enough to identify.

    Great collecting,

    William

The upper one should be a sort of tourist pin with the coat of arms of the City of Reims:

The second one is either to commemorative, or more likely, given as a token for donations to rebuild the Reims cathedral after the 1914 artillery barrage and subsequent fire.

Thank you both! I certainly know more now than I did before. While they are interesting period pieces, I suspect they won't draw much interest on the estand, although I might try them there very inexpensively.
