Some simple medal bars

Here are my WWI medal bars - please help me out and let me know if I am off base regarding the states. Sorry if the pictures are not the best.

this one is Bavaria - fairly straight forward I think

Nice, these are fun to collect. I think #2 would be considered Austrian?

Curt, you are pretty much correct, or at least as correct as possible given the awards here. Number two is a bar to a German, probably Prussian. The Baden bar originally had the Kyffhauser medal on it. When the Hindy was institued the other veteran's organization medals went away. Looks like the guy was too cheap to have it all remounted and just substituted the Hindy for the other.

Question regarding the comment about whether #2 was Austrian. I did not think so because I have always seen the triangular "Austrian" fold on ribbons for any Austrian mounts. Is this ALWAYS the case or would it just depend on where you had the medal/s mounted (ie if an Austrian got his medal/s mounted in Bavaria would he get the "German" ribbon mount)?

Hi, love that Baden bar!! Love the diversity of mounting styles as shown in your collection. It is a wonderful set.... and as Chris said a lot of fun to collect.... I gots 2 bars in the mail and CAN"T wait to get them in my hot lil hands.

Depends on the timeframe and location of the mounting.

I think this one can be Navy actually because blue velt on the reverse - more common for Kriegsmarine but do not confirm it 100%.
