    Brunswick - Kriegsverdienstkreuz am gelb-blauen Bande document

    here is a kriegsverdienstkreuz am gelb-blauen ribbon document for a gendarmeriewachtmeister.
    its cutted on the top and bottem
    but i like it
    who was the ordenskanzler and staatsminister who wrote his autograph on it?
    who many of these get awarded during the war?

    Well, that's TWO now! Yours is the long form and mine is the final "war economy" small size.

    Here's mine, in a thread showing my document and various medal groups with this award:

    Brunswick seems to have misplaced their WW1 award rolls, so we may never know how many were awarded. From the other thread, it will be seen that document serial numbers indicate these were mixed into the "blue-yellow" rolls and not counted separately.

    Staatsminister K. Wolff (apparently ennobled 1917/18 as von Wolff) actually did sign every single blessed one of these-- some consolation for having no STAMP.
