Kaiser Wilhelm Bible

ANyone ever seen a Bible like this? Were they sold as a war relief effort, or was this a presentation item to the military itself? Anyone know?

Also how to do tell if a signature is original or a stamp. For the life of me I cant tell. There are indentations on the back part of the leaf, non uniform, but otherwise I cant tell.

Chris take a 10x loop to the signature. I'm sure you won't see what appears to be an ink across the page but rather a continuous line from a printer. Ink runs into the paper into the threads.

That's his famous "we're ALL just Germans now..." quote at the beginning of the war, so I think the patriotic gift idea is likely.

excellent, thanks guys! I didnt think it was a hand signature, I just had no idea how to tell. Its a fairly neat Bible though, many very nice plates throughout.
