2nd class and 3rd class order on one display

    Hello, Imperial guys

I would like to bother you with one question (at least an important one for me...)

Will the award rules allow to see a 2nd class neck cross (and maybe a breast star) of the Prussian crown order side by side with a 3rd class cross on a great bar

Please let me know; every help on this would be more than welcome and highly appreciated!

Here the bar with 3rd crown order on display. I would like to "pimp" up the display with some higher awards.

Gerd, that is a fantastic looking display, with a very nice spange. Of course, with the award of the KO2, it would 'move up' from the spange to the neck, so technically, both could not be worn at the same time, according to the statutes.

      Hi Vince,

That's interesting information. Does it mean that two classes of the KO would never be found worn together by the same person? And if so, does the same go for the RAO?
      Best regards,
      Streptile

The same goes for RAOs - as long as they are without additions and on standard ribbons. Different issue with swords, black and white or white and black ribbons, crowns on RAO etc.

How about some foreign stuff, maybe a neck cross from Romania?

Thanks guys; much appreciated So I was right with my "gut feeling"

A pre 1910 Romanian neck cross for civil merit could be a good choice................
