Pre-1914 Officer's bar

I usually focus on medal bars for the enlisted ranks,but this bar is is for a Major ,with the awards dating before 1914. The damage to the enamel on the RAO4 is a minor distraction. i am really taken with the gilding of the Long service and Century medals

yup i can feel the attraction to more officers bars, especially those with Saxon and Bavarian enamled awards
