Who Made This Cross?

This cross sold on US ebay a couple of weeks ago. I bid over $100 but was badly outbid. It's obviously a high quality cross but I can't figure out who the maker was. The seller said the ring was unmarked. Any ideas? Ammersee

it looks a lot like the silber marked cross Ek1 (the one in post #4 on the right):

Looks like a blued core pumpkin crown variation and yes, current thinking is that they are Zimmermann.

Yup, C F Zimmermann with the "round crown" core variant. Pretty sure this is a 'Iron sheet' core, made of 2 parts.
