Hello All,
I am assuming by the measurements and appearance that this is a WW2 manufactured EK1 - am I correct?
Can someone please provide me the maker, so that I may create a proper placard?
Of note: the frame is separating at the apex of all 4 inside corners and along the arms - I believe I see evidence of solder present (vs. Gablonzer method).
Does the case appear "correct" for this particular maker?
Measurements of the EK1 are: height 44.1mm, width 44.0mm, weight 17.4g
Measurements of the Case are: 69 x 69 x 21mm
Thank you,
Eric
P.S. I don't usually touch my badges at all unless they are in desparate need of saving from further decay, but, I am very tempted to clean this one up a bit with a soft brush to remove some of the dust and grime to restore a bit of the luster - thoughts?
