Unfortunately, I'm afraid that seller will not give me information about any markings...

That guy is selling some repro stuff too. I am sure about some, but about some I'm not. Still I'm not sure about RAO for example. I hope I will get better pics of that - then I post it here.

I'm glad that you like KO 2 class, that's my favorite, I think I will inwest in that.



To compare eagles from RAO:
1. "our" eagle


2. and other eagle, I found (with googles help):


First eagle has white enamel under crown, second has not. And notice that this eagles are completly other way round (each picture is taken from different side od cross).
I'm not expert so it is hardly to me to say what this differences can say to us? 2. maybe is a copy?

3. that is nice original, similar to "our" eagle

Btw does anyone know how many Grand Crosses has been granted?

Important would the weight of the RAO GK.

It is a heavy job with little pictures of the eagles. Basically, the eagles of the offered piece looks good for me, but I've never seen that email is only white under the electoral hat.

I like the RAO, quality wise. Not sure how good the fakes are but look at the nicely struck Eagles and center medals. The "bottom pattern" under the enamel looks very nice and "Eagles attaching method" matches the eMedals cross #3 which, according to Barry, is early. Color of eagle enamel doesn't bother me, it all depends on the cameras settings and lighting.
