medal bar worth bidding on???

just wondering is this medal bar worth bidding on theres a week to go and athough the medals arent all the righ one still i think it might be worth it what do you guys think?oh and always it a "vet bring back"

If the Bavarian Military Merit Crosses (MVK) are good (there are repros), then this is a good assortment.

However, the bar is missing a medal. According to the ribbons, the last medal should not be a Bavarian MVK, but a Bavarian Long Service Medal. Also, the Honor Cross on the piece of ribbon sewn below should be third, and the veteran's medal in third place goes with the ribbon sewn below (an easy fix).

By the way, if truly a vet bringback , the vet was apparently a thief. A WW2 vet bringback of a WW1 veteran's medal bar? Most likely looted from a house.

It's an odd one!

The bar is missing the Bavarian long-service medal on the end. The Honor Cross and Kyffhauser medal need to be switched back. Price is cheap enough right now and if you like that 'worn with pride" look, I see no reason to not chase it!

are the mvks repos? but i reckon il give it a bash ans see what happens! this will be my 1st bid on ebay!!

Does anyone have a picture of a repo or know where to look at one? What are the signs that they are bad - poor quality?

To be honest, I don't know what to look for. It was pointed out to me by Sascha Zimmermann, who probably knows more about Bavarian orders than anyone, that there are a number of non-original higher grade MVKs out there (especially the 1st class). I have no reason to suspect this group.
