I got this, this is really old and it was on something that seems long gone.

There are still 4 holes and i guess it must have been on some sort of case.

I also been told that this is a Ww1 item, anyone have a clue?

this bataillon was the "brandenburgisches nummer 3 (number 3) and was from spandau (berlin). it was a prussian bataillon.

look at wikipedia there a some infos about it.
