Yes, they are. But beware, there were two House orders of Hohenzollern: A royal Prussian one, and one awarded by the Fürstentum Hohenzollern. While the design is the same, there are some minor or major differences.

So am I correct that the Royal Prussian HoH awards all have this center:

almost any Prussian award could have been awarded on any ribbon... Prussia is know for different ribbons on same crosses.

thats right Fels = rocks. This refers to the mountain "Zollern" on which the castle from the Hohenzollern stands in Sigmaringen. And with sea is meaning the Baltic Sea (Ostsee). You can say: From mountain Zollern to the Baltic Sea. The northern point on the Baltic Sea was the city Memel. I hope you can understand what I mean.

You're correct about the medaillons. Furthermore, the royal order always have a crown above the cross, while the principals only have in some classes.

There were strict rules, but many special exceptions. E. g. a live saver could get several awards for his second live saving on live saving ribbon, as the live saving medal had you one class.

Orders with swords were awarded on black-white ribbon (like EK combattant) or to doctors on white-black ribbon or on statutory ribbon to foreigners etc. etc. Most of this does not affect the (rare) HOH but rather RAO and KO.

One more question for you. I recently saw for sale a KO2X with a blue neck ribbon (Halsband). I assumed it was a mix-up, as the swords award should be with a black-white ribbon. But is it possible that a KO2X did come with a blue Halsband, just to a specific recipient (for example, to a foreign recipient)?

Yes, it is absolutely true that foreigners (not germans) were given the orders with swords on "statutenmäßigen" ribbon.

One thing about shifting away from an exclusive focus on the Iron Cross and a bit more into Prussian enamel, is that the pieces now arrive in my collection at a far slower pace...

This is my most recent addition. I believe it was made after 1930 when Gebrüder Godet was founded (after J. Godet & Sohn was sold). All comments welcome. Thanks for your interest.
