I am not a fan of this cross. The hinge block looks too large and the "KO"
    stamp looks a bit odd.

Maybe it's me, but I don't recognise the core details on this one. I do not
remember seeing this style of crown and the date (especially the "9") before.

This looks like an attempt to not only fake a 1914 EK1 but fake a KO in particular. This one is bad.

I agree the stamp is no good .......

and its an odd looking cross.....?

the upper frame do look like a KO frame ?

the hinge I never seen before ,,,,

but its not the only odd cross I seen lately

original or not Its difficult to say

        regards kay

I have seen this type of KO before. I'm not sure if it's necessarily good, but I've seen it.

HERE is a fairly robust discussion of the type.

Hey, I could be wrong, but it just does not look right to me. I would like to hear from others.

The first thing that leaps out to me is the crown details, or rather, the lack of them. The crown appears heavily worn yet retains the finish.....

The reverse setup and mark are also strange.

                Hi,

I agree it looks a bit "out of place". However it is still on my KO wish list... There are a lot of new KO fakes on ebay. They all have the more 1957 looking core. But this type of KO I would not call a fake instantly. All the cores I have seen from this KO type have these completely worn out crowns. I have seen one with a nice "period repair" of the catch. Also KO ek1s are not known of their incredible nice designs. Just my opinion.

                Best regards,
                Michel

I am adding the pictures here again so that when the Imageshack link
dies we still have pictures to reference to .
