Has anyone checked out this grouping of medals. If they are real it would be
quite a nice lot.

Looks like a nice assortment of orders, especially with the documents. I find it somewhat odd that they are not mounted on a bar, especially since a (somewhat dubious looking) ribbon bar is there.

Hard to say whether somebody discovered the documents and then added the medals later... still a nice grouping nonetheless.

He was a Rechnungsrat, an accountant/auditor in a government ministry. He probably had no occasion to wear a medal bar, although I wonder what he could have done in WW1 to get the Iron Cross.

The "Chinese" certificate the seller refers to actually is for the Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure, the medal on the far right.

That is one hell of an interesting group, especially with the Chilean order
