    1957 Silesian Eagle

If the '57 Baltic Cross exist then exist also '57 Silesian Eagle, right? How is it possible to recognize these last ones?
    Thanks

    Mario.

Post 1957 versions of the Silesian Eagle do exist. Like the post-57 Third Reich awards, they are CHEAP AND NASTY - made from glittery alloys and poor quality enamels rather than the original bronze or iron. If you saw one, you would not mistake it for a pre-45 example.

      i have a 2nd class
its pressed iron with black color - no enamel.
and the quality is less than the awarded ones have.

Or like this old one! The 1957 version also has a completely different pinback.

Pinback of the old one (private purchased de luxe enamel type). I suspect the 57 has the same pinback like the most 3. Reich 57 awards.

no Brian, mine is not the pretty
but also stamped brass and detailed but no enamel

by the way, what are the prices for the 57er issue (want to sell mine and after saving money i try to buy an "original" enameled one)
