            Daniel,

You never cease to amaze me !

I love the pic... but what I really want is THE UNIFORM in the picture !!!!!!!

I've been looking for a Prussian General's uniform for about 5 years now... and the few I have seen (from the better known dealers) have had major flaws.... I'm starting to wonder if there ever was a Prussian Army to begin with .....

Also..... your letter arrived today.... Thanks !!!!!!

            Cheers
            Mark

              Exist?

I'm sure the army existed; it's just that the unifofms had to be returned on the death of the wearer (not dissimilar to a lot of orders).Either that,or the phographers did a great business in costume rentals. Those are the only logical explanations I can think of for the lack of uniforms on the market .

                Hey Steven,

I'm sure they are out there..... Probably there is one or two collectors in Europe... who have collected this stuff for 60 years.... and probably have a basement full of these things......

Someday they may see the sun again

I have found.. that with this hobby (whether it's German or any other country)... it's either being in the right place at the right time..... or having enough contacts that look out for you that locate this stuff when it sees the light of day.......

I figure if I whine enough on this forum.... sooner or later one of the members will find one for me... if for no other reason but to get me to stop complaining

                Cheers !
                Mark

                Cheers
                Mark
