My favorite find came in on Christmas Eve, a late war Prussian Crown Order 2nd Class with Swords, which looks like it was hit by an artillery shell, missing one sword hilt and really well worn, obviously by a higher ranking field officer.

I had a good run in 2009. I picked a ribbon bar to a PLM holder, a medal bar to a PLM holder, a Medal bar to a Zepplin officer and a few others. My favorite is the medal bar of GFM Walter Model holder of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with oakleaves, swords and diamonds which I purchased in Germany in October. Yes, The GFM Model bar was found unattributed on a Saturday morning at last years show in Gunzenhausen. I have since exchanged emails with the dealer to find out who it bought it from and maybe trace it back to the family.
