Another "White-Black" Noncombatant Iron Cross Medal Bar Thread

This is posted for Jason, and is the nicest "Shooting Prize" medals bar I've ever seen too, since these actually LOOK like official awards, and not the usual "Karneval" appearing stuff.

I actually got to finger this medal bar once, when it was in this hemisphere. I don't remember what or from where the 3 prize medals were.

Notice the "gold" Prussian XV. This finish, rather than the statutory copper finish, seems to have been a favorite of "Leutnant aD" types-- career NCOs demobilized with officer rank.

All that marksmanship, and never got a "black-white" EK! This guy MAY be the single reason Germany lost the war: behind the front when he should have been up there looking out for Alvin York!

Hello lads

Thanks to Rick for posting this one, if anyone is interested, I'll give you the inscriptions on the obverses and reverses of the shooting medals. Maybe someone can come up with a translation (my high school German is starting to fade fast!)

Anyway, the first one's obverse reads "EINIGKEIT Macht Stark", and the reverse is "1407 500 Jahriges Jubilaum der Schutzengilbe HERZBERG 1907" and what looks like the designer/maker's name A. Elster.

The second one reads "Ub Aug Und.Hand furs Vaterland", and the reverse is "325 Jahr.Jubilaum der priv.Scheiben Schutzengesellschaft GROSSENHAIN 26-29.Juli 1908"

The third one's reverse reads "Z.Andenken a.d. 400 Jahr Bestehen & 150 Jahr Fahnen-Jubilaum D.Schutzengilde Prettin am 10 Mai 1914"
