Unmarked Thick EK2?

Recieved this unmarked ek off old ebay, core seems alittle thick, loos to have quite distinctive beading on the frame, does any one recognise it, is there such a known thick variety like WW2 Deschler EK'2?

Hey Mike,

It's a very common core found in many makers' EKs. I'm not sure we can fix a maker that way. The best bet is a meked on with that same uncommon beading pattern, as you point out. Have you trawled the database?

had a look previously, noted A maybe similar, will keep searching, aslong as its a good one thats important bit

Don`t worry mate, got 4 of this crosses, my personal favourite style but very hard to find.

This maker is most times found unmarked. Crosses marked with the above makers have a differend ring for the ribbon, most times a bit larger than the unmarked version which is pretty small compared to others.
