    Imperial Miscellany

I am sure many of us have added the occassional piece to our collection
that is maybe only slightly related to our primary collection. For example,
I collect Iron Crosses. I came across this wall plaque that I just had to have
    to display with my Eks.

Great photo with that little hot rod!

I like the plaque... in fact I like everything there. I've got a few curiosity items only vaguely related to Iron Crosses, too. I'm working on some kind of idea for a display that would incorporate them.

Have you shown that 1870 EK2 w oaks before? Looks lovely from here, and I'd love to see closer shots.
      Best regards,

        Thanks Trevor,
Yes, I've posted it many times over the years. It's a very unnote worthy
jubilee piece. In fact I think the last time I posted it was in your "Jubilee"
        thread.

I'm sure you (and a lot of us) have some misc. stuff laying around. Let's
        see it.

Graeg, is that the actual model kit assembled? What scale is it. I believe this was a Hot Wheels car from the 60's also, in addition to the model kit. Wonder if it's still available.

Nice Bismarck shot, Steve. I have a lot of Bismarck stuff... one of my personal heroes. I can post it later (after work )

This one is a new release in 1/43 scale. I had the kit as a kid but it was
lost some 35 years ago. I dostill have the 1/64 scale hot wheels version.
The kits are still available as well as dicast versions in several different scales.

                        Steve P.
Thanks for posting the aircraft and photos. That's just what I had in mind.

NOW back to the topic. I can't believe no one else has any misc. stuff
laying around. Hanging on the walls or holding down the desk. I really
thought this thread would have more traction.

Here is an old art deco box that looks to date from the 1930s. Notice
the ww2 screwback Ek attached to the lid. The Ek is a one piece brass
patriotic piece and is simply marked "Ges. Gesch".

Gimme some time, I've got some stuff but it's not photographed. I do want to other people's stuff, too.

I'm in the same boat. I have a few things, not much, but none is photographed. I'll try in the next few days.
