Thanks to Mike H for posting the second badge for me. I didn't want to hijack the thread but to post this example that I believe to be original, albeit from the Third Reich period. This badge came from the George Peterson collection and is the one in Detlav's price guide, even though it is unattributed. The backing cloth is blue-grey tricot, so it would have been worn on the DLV or Luft uniform. Thought it would be good to use as a comparison.
