Help Needed to ID Imperial Medals Bar

I just purchased this early Imperial German medals parade mount ed group of medals. Would like to know what I have here and what the value of these might be ..Purchased along with a group of other military items froma families estate ..No further history known ..Help Me please ?? Brent

It's neither from Coburg and Gotha, nor is it Eduard. It's Sachsen-Altenburg, Herzog Ernst I. issue. Must pre-date 1908. A full picture would be helpfull...

Took me several years to find one of these.

Hmmmm, I think qwith 1870/1 clasp it is even somewhat rarer...

Brent , there are two issues of this very medal: one showing his full beard (like Wild Card's), and one only showing a half side. I have no idea which one is yours as it is covered.

I assumed by the back and the bit of the head we could see it was a Saxe Coburg.

I have never even SEEN one of those in the past 20 years!!
