Imperial German U boats

I am desperatley looking for a picture of an imperial u boat conning tower showing the engine telegraph to aid me in the restoration of one, i simply cannot seem to find even a reference to one so any information or leads as to where i might get information will be gratefully received.

Could you clarify what the engine telegraph is? Is it the antenna for the submarine to send a signal to another ship or is it something internal for communication within the submarine?

Hi Carl,
it is the device for sending the desired engine speed and direction from either the conning tower or the control room to the engine room, here is a ww2 example to give you an idea of the instrument.
