WWI German Pilots badge on Flask

I believe this is an authentic WWI German pilots flask. It came out of a local estate sale. The flask is glass with a green leather cover. How much is it worth and is it original? Thanks in advance

From the pics posted I doubt this is an authentic badge.

I think the flask is old, and the emblem is possibly from the 70s. I agree it isnt an old badge. thats my opinion as if it were period, it would not be so flat looking. I would think it would be embosssed on the front, or pressed into the moroccan leather. Nice fantasy piece . Besides whats the angular lines at the left top, staples or?? hope you didnt spend more than 10.00usd on this ringer. I apologise if im too critical, but anyway id say pass.
