As far as value? Hard to pinpoint but I'll check some old catalogues that might give you a place to start.

since we don't SEE much GOOD STUFF any more! Also, ever since sales catalogs were replaced by online... there is nothing to refer BACK to. (Who remembers the prices from Niemann or Weitze... last April? Gone FOREVER and no one will ever be able to "flip through" the items 20 years... or 1 week... later )
