    zeppelin badge original?

    Hi to all I bought this Zeppelin badge it seems to be old.
    It is in an bad quality produced and it has no maker signs Stamps on it.
    Could this badge be an privat buy pre 1945 ? Could it be original?

      Hi Don, I don't get a good feeling about this piece, it looks like one of the cast pieces that ' do the rounds' . Look at the top ribbon bow , the ones that arch up to take the crown on marine examples( right one as you look at it) on these copies this ribbon is always noticably thinner than the other one. The reverse has that typical cast look to it too. Hope it didn't cost you too much ! Ferg1.
