Not sure what a fake one of these would look like. They are usually quite cheap so would the fakers really bother? Looks like the Deumer logo on there.

I didn't understand this when I first saw it ? The Honour Cross looks just fine and original to me, I'd have no problems adding it to my collection.

Yeah, it was cheap, maybe that's why I thougt it was fake. Anyway, I just needed a confirmation before I added it to my collection. Thanks guys

looks fine to me...

what a waste of effort, at least for the combatant/non-combatant. the
widows and mother's cross may be a different story...

there were SO MANY manufacturers of these crosses, you could almost
spend your life just collecting different makers.

I can't imagine that the return on the forger's investment would even make it worth thier while. On the other hand, an Ehrenkreuz would be a heck of a lot easier to reproduce than many other German badges and medals.

Seems rather like forging $1 bills.. Granted, nobody ever looks -that- close at $1 bills, but they're still only $1 bills...
