Hello Medianoche;
First, I think this is a Wound badge in BLACK.
Second, This is maker marked and "800" silver content marked badge and therefore commands a higher price than a standard Wound Badge in black. However that is tempered by the condition (worn). I like worn pieces, but the market can ask for PERFECT when they are buying higher quality pieces.
How much? I don't know...I haven't run across one of these in a decade. Normal Verwundetenabzeichen -20 Euros. maker marked and "800" -??? Euros.

Hello, how are you?. I do not think is a black wound, as it has no black enamel nowhere and I guess that when it was manufactured are silver ... but over time acquired the beautiful patina. I was told it was a very rare badge, and that its price is high.
I can’t speak English very well. Sorry.

I understand your explanation. I am making my opinion based on thepatina of other "800" silver badges (fliegerabzeichen). While they obtain a patina, I don't recall seeing this much, and this dark of "black".
Does anyone else have an opinion on this badge? Has anyone seen one like it?
PS. I didn't notice the intricate clasp the last time. That also suggests high quality. I agree with you that this badge will command a high price to the right collector.
Don't speak english very well -No problem. I don't either.

Very nice one! I think it is ment to be a "Black" grade. However, that does not much change the price on such an item. "KM" is the royal mint in Stuttgart, the same firm that made those high end EKs 1st class maker marked "K.M.ST."
I'm not much into prices on wound badges but think that one should sell at 100,- to 150,- Euro.

Hi,
Other examples of this KM 800 are known. They are uncommon. I'd agree with Saschaw about the 100-150 Euro price. The "stamped" 800 examples are desirable but it is the "hohlverbodet" examples that command the premium 300+ Euro prices. I also tend to agree that this is probably a black grade rather than silver grade, however I also agree that in this case the grade has almost no effect on price. It would if it was GOLD grade, but I do not recall ever seeing a KM 800 in gold.

Here are 2 photos of the Imperial wound badge I purchased. Can anyone tell
if it is genuine. It is in very good condition so I have my doubts.
