Miniatures

Hi, I would like to buy this set of miniatures but can someone please tell me if these were likely to have been awarded to one person? Also, they are on a weird kind of chain. Is this likely to have been worn on a jacket or is it just a fancy bracelet which has nothing to do with the miniatures?

hi terry, an entirely plausible group to a Junior Austrian Officer. While usually, the German's always wore the miniatures as lapel pin chains, you will see Austrian awards done up as minis on bracelets, broaches and even necklaces. I've never explored as to what/why the difference in taste/style, but looks like a legit group/item to me. Good Luck!
