Greg, I am afraid that I really do not think that pin has anything to do with Braunschweig. Commemorative pins, badges, what-ever from Braunschweig use the Braunschweig pattern skull, with femurs below a jawless skull. I have no idea what that is, but the pattern of the skull is not IR92 or HR17.

I know exactly what you mean. I was / am concerned about the same thing.
I did find a picture posted by Robin Lumsden in a thread about Brunswick
pins--see attached photo.
When I sent a email to Robin asking his opinion. His reply was "good
Hussar pin" He did not confirm it as being from Brunswick.
So I still do not know for sure.Attached Files
