Not 1823 EKII, I think you meant to say 1813 EKII and it's not a real 1813 EKII.

I believe this is a forgery.

I agree, frame is wrong and core looks bubbly.

The frame does look 1914ish. The bubbles in the core are pronounced
but that is not a complete red flag. Some of those posted in our "Holy
Grail" thread have some bubbles but the thing that I don't particularly
don't care for is the lack of detail in the core. They are way too soft.

I wouldn't dismiss it out right but it certainly has some issues.

The thing I don't like about it is lack of a crack (can be OK but most have them) and more importantly is the shape of the bottom of the stem on the leave spray. It cants to the left rather than points straight down. Just an observation and I defer to those that study the EKs more. I am certainly not an expert on these. Steve
