That is a very neat looking setup. The spange is an unofficial piece
most likely just a patriotic souvenir but still very nice looking.
Too bad it is missing one of its oak leafs.

Very interesting and unusual. The case is also very uncommon. The second item does look like an ashtray, what are the dimensions?

Its currently for sale on ebay.de but the missing leaf puts me of.

About the ashtray is 14-15cm (I'm at work so i don't have the correct essurements) and its marked Ges.Gesh. I dont know if it was intended as a ashtray but it has been used that way

I have had one of those large patritotic items before, mine was also used as an ashtray and marked as this is.
Mine had a hook attachment on the back that was part of the item. I am certain it was for display. It was quite heavy.
