id say 1914 as most of the 1870 bars would be in a trapezoid style but its still hard to say with a single on like that!

I agree-----most likely 1914 but impossible to say for sure

Actually impossible to be 1870, so has to be 1914. Those larger style bars were often worn yet in the war, so it may well date to 1915/18 era.

I´ve always thought it was from WWI era but when I was going to place it in my new displaying case I had the doubt due to the "primitive"sewing.

I will place it over one 1914 EKI if anybody suggests my otherwise.

Great too to confirm it can perfectly be a war item.
