    Passport? "Reise-Pass" & Military ID?

I’m not a ‘paper guy’ thus, am clueless here & hoping for enlightenment. This stuff came with a group of stuff I picked up yesterday. There were some great photo postcards of uniformed Germans, what I’m guessing is a passport dated 1923 and a smaller blue (military?) ID type book dated 1917.

Since I don’t read German... I’m hoping someone might ID these & let me know if there’s any value associated here. I'm guessing it's common stuff. It certainly doesn't 'fit' in my collection. I would be great to know what the heck I'm looking at here.

Any guidance you folks might be would be a huge help. Thanx in advance for any comment & help you may provide.

    Rick C.

Here's what I'm guessing is a military ID of some kind. The blue 1917 booklet is about 5.5” x 3.25”
