I still think if these are PlM dies, this is not Juncker, most likely Wagner pre-1919.

So if something like a PlM, it's a mold for the enamel powder, not a die. I think I see the ones you are referring to.

Sorry for the late reply Don. Just returned from from a brief visit to Iraq.

The dies are interesting. They do not look like Johanniter dies to me. The position of the eagles and the baroque loop on the top arm make them more like a PlM. Plus, the writing appears to be on the arms, something that a Johanniter would not have.

Why these dies would be in a Juncker storage area is a mystery to me. But if the man was identified as a worker for Juncker, it wouldn't make much sense that this photo would be taken at Wagner.

Would love to get a closer look at the dies. I blew it up as best I could. One thing that strikes me as odd though is the sheer size of the die if a PlM. In relation to the man's hand, it just seems to be too big to be a standard PlM for wear. Steve

wel he cant be all to small ,but wel found comparison in the picture

The large dies for the "PLM" look to me like sand-moulds in a frame.
Compare the light colour with the metal-dies.
And about the size - i think we see here sand-moulds taken from a masterpiece to cast occasionaly a few copys from the Black Eagle-Order and/or Grandcross of the Red Eagle-Order. We know casted copys of them sold in the 1920/1930 years.
