This is the M-1915 bluse of Major v der Groeben, 7th jaeger batln. In MY 1912 rangliste he was a hauptmann with the following orders: prussian crown order 4th class, saxon Albrechts order knights cross 1st class, Schaumberg Lippe officer's honor cross, and Waldeck service cross 4th class. From MY Dienstalters Liste 1917, he recieved his major's patent in Nov 1914. I am looking for what he did during the war...

This is the named tunic of hauptman dR Fiedler of Saxon Leib-grenadier Regiment 100. The tunic has a Dresden maker label and is dated 1911. The tunic has the collar litzen and swedish cuff w/ litzen and secondary piping on the cuff of a guard unit, and the distictive saxon triangular skirt flap and piping along the bottom of the skirt. The original M1910 cyphered boards are on the tunic. Fiedler recieved the Saxon St. Henry order in March 1915 as a company commander in the Saxon 102 reserve infantry regiment, and the ribbon on his buttonhole, while gaudy, appears to be original. From the placement of the loops on his breast, a EK1 is a given, but I think a pin back award was worn above it, possibly one of the saxon duchies. I don't believe he had a wound badge, but I could be wrong.

Sorry Mark, no general's items. I primarily collect imperial german officer's spikes, feldgrau tunics and cavalry caps with a little bit of imperial russian and WW1 USMC officer's items. As long as we are stroking each other, I looked at your generals uniforms in the forum on the nazzzi side; very sweet. I wonder if I could be lured to the dark side....

                    Warning

                    Dave,

                    "Warning Warning Warning Will Robinson"....

Stay with the Imperial stuff......... unless you have been collecting the 3rd Reich stuff for a long time.. there are more land mines than I would care to count with the Nazi stuff.....

But I am still looking for the elusive Prussian General's uniform... I'm starting to think that there were none

                    Cheers

                      info

                      Hey Dave,

I have gone through my 'limited' rank lists and really can't find more than you already have on these guys.... Perhaps some of the other guys in the forum will come up with something... sorry

                      Cheers
