At least I think it is... (although I don't seem to find the answer rightaway) What's the difference between the Sakson silver Friedrich August-medal and the bronze one? One for officers and one for NCO's and soldiers, or am I wrong there?

From the Saxon regulations:
1. Unteroffiziere:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
¨ Silberne Friedrich-August-Medaille am Bande für Kriegsdienste.<o></o>
2. Mannschaften:<o></o>
¨ Bronzene Friedrich-August-Medaille am Bande für Kriegsdienste; für weitere hervorragende Leistungen:<o></o>
¨ Silberne Friedrich-August-Medaille am Bande für Kriegsdienste;<o></o>
means, enlisted ones get the bronce one, for additional Merits the silver one. NCO´s get initially the Silver one, if they have more than 20 years of Service they get immediately the Albert Cross with swords instead of the Friedrich August medal.
Best regards
Daniel
