Looks like he has the traditional Deathhead and Crossbones on his visor cap and he carries a pistol and binoculars , His pants seem to have a color stripe also .
In this photo he is working a mounted machine gun , looks like a gun with a top mounted drum mag.Comment

This seems to be a Lt., may be friend of Fliegerlt. Mann , that came to visit and his car and driver .However the man who might be the driver does not have the ' Kraftfahrer ' collar tabs , but per his visor cap , he is an NCO!Comment

The Totenkopf looks to me like the Brunswick style and not the Prussian one. I checked my 1914 Rangliste and found a lot of Lt Manns, but none in any of the Brunswick regiments. He must have come along later.Comment
