Extremely rare Braunschweiger Noncombattant MVK on Womans-bow

This one is really rare. It was maybe awarded to a nurse.
Rick, have you got any award numbers for the combattant and noncombattant cross?

I'm not sure of exact numbers, but since every award document for a combatant award has the consecutive Award Roll number in the lower left corner, I would think that there were in the neighborhood of 7,000-8,000 of those awarded. How many NON-combatants were awarded, I have no clue, but obviously far fewer. (Have never seen a noncombatant award doicument)

It IS still possible to pick up under-appreciated Imperial "treasures" like this, from dealers who only "know" Third Reich.
