    TR era Imperial EK1s

Do these cores look the same to you? Does anyone else have one with the same core? Who is the maker?

From memory I think that's a Mayer core. andya is currently selling a 26 marked example if you want to confirm.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

One of them is a Mayer.

Taking angles into account, the cores on both of these examples look the same. The 1914EK1 TR Mayer's can also be found with the earlier "fat" main pin. Are you going to put up a pic of the reverse of yours Don?

Mine has the reverse setup of another Pforzheim maker, Otto Schickle.

Now let's see if we can find any other makers using this core.

                Don,

That's the earlier "fat" pin B H Mayer variation I was referring too. I used to own an L/18 39EK1 with this pin/hardware. The "coke bottle" pin on Andy's example is imo the later style pin.
