HOH3X recipient

Hello,
i am about to bid on a HOH3X with document. The name on the doc is Walter Renny. commander of a submarine. The things look ok but it seems a bit strange that i can t find his name anywere in the net.
Is there a chance for someone to find him in a roll?

I saw the item and could not confirm the name. There are not an award rolls for the HOH3x. The list is being complied from other sources.

normaly as a submarine commander i think his name should be found with google. Also the number on the doc is 4484, which could be to low for april 1918 but i am not sure.

Hi Detlev

Kapitänleutnant Walter Remy was avarded this medal at the date stated in the document.
He was commander on U17, U24 and U90. He also participated in WWII and died 1965.
