I have been looking for variations of the 2nd Class Silesian eagles in enamel finish. This weekend, I was offered a screwback enamelled Silesian Eagle 1st class with the rayback screw disc. The badge had hollow rivits. The seller told me these were recently found in Europe. The entire badge was new without the slightest hint of patina. The screwback disc was the same as many of the 3rd Reich fakes.
I am still looking for ORIGINAL examples of the 2nd class Silesian Eagle medal, with either solid rivits or no rivits, on the reverse.
