Thanks Alik for posting these great pics. Looks like it may have been cast from an original. Is it a solid cross?

The casting bubbles certainly tell a story all their own with the better pics. Wonder who is making these? Steve

Yes, it feels solid and there is no hole, but what it's cast from hard to tell,
if it was cast from original it should have all of the goods of original, front and back.

It's almost a shame that the eagles are of such poor quality - it's not a bad representation. The sellers description insists they are not cast and that it's 'probably brass'.

Still, a reasonably nice copy for the collection Alik.

His latest ebay offering.. PLM ... is apparently marked W and 938 and while he still dosen't claim it is original, I get the distinct impression from his description that he's gone to even less effort than previously to ensure the public is aware it is a copy... which is sad.

...It is not bad, but I don't like cast items, so he will have that unmarked one there on e-bay again soon, it's on a way back...

I noticed that the weight is different on those PLMs, the one I had is about 26-27g with a ring and the other one is 18-19g(from description).........

here are two side by side, ...maybe it's just his picture, but they look a little different.
