Iwill soon post some pics of an Ersatz Bayern pickelhaube with grey painted steel fittings which now belongs to a friend ready to part from it.
It is not in mint conditions and the frontal plaque miss the crown, although the side "loewen" have it. It doesn't seem damaged, but you can see the darker footprint of the crown. Somebody told me that it might be a ph reused in the '20s but I have virtually no knowledge about them and thought they were used only until 1918.
I know pics will help, but in the meantime anybody has something to say about it?
I will need also an advice on the value of this piece
Thanks in advance
