    Sweet Baltic Cross

    Picked up this BC at the local gun show today, it was vetted by another member at the time of purchase and obtained from a trusted local dealer so I have no qualms about it's originality, but I would be interested in knowing the maker or date of manufacture, if members in the know would be so kind. It has no markings, but I believe that was the norm for these crosses.

        By the look of the pin I would suggest that it is 1957 reissue manufacture.

          I agree with Patrick. This is still a nice and legitimate government sanctioned cross. Well done! See pic below for major differences. Steve

            Thanks for the information guys, I was not aware that they made them post war like the RK, TDB, and such. I thought this was of pre 1945 manufacture. This being the case, it does appear to have seen more useage/wear than I would have expected. Are not most '57 pieces generally in an above average condition, and would this type of BC be less valuable than the pre 1945 examples?
