Expert sellers?

Hello,

Did anyone else see the remarkable errors on the weitze-website today? 3 different types of shoulder boards, all from Infanterie-Regiment 95 are two times told to be of the "7. Thür. Infanteire-Regiment Nr. 75" (! doesn't anyone there have a decent book about the German army?) and once of the "5. Thür. Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 94 ". It's not the first time I see this kind of errors and it is one of the reasons I buy almost no more militaria (only all kinds of paper (books, pictures, documents etc.)). If respectable sellers can't identify something or are selling things that look very suspicious, I quit...

I would very much appreciate your views on this.

IF the prices are good for a change, I am always delighted to find ANY "professional" dealer actually selling something that I know what it is and he/she doesn't.

That, of course, is why collectors should do THEIR homework, and not accept the statements of dealers as gospel when they stray outside their normal selling expertise.
