To support the recent discussion of Woundbadges here are some pics of silver-/gold-plated and painted Woundbadges.

The left one is silver-plated, the right one is silver-painted. Both are made from brass.

Left one is gold-plated (a real beauty!), right one gold-painted. The painted badge is made from iron, the other is in brass!
