Unusual Book with Postcards

Here is an interesting book I have just picked up. It appears to be a Regiments History and at the back it has the Original Postcards.

Rittmeister Gleich

Hi,

published in a series known as "Die Achselklappe" this little book was authored by the then Rittmeister Wilhelm Gleich. Herr Gleich who was serving as the adjutant of the XIII. Armeekorps in 1914 was promoted to Major on the 20th of May that year. He eventually commanded the regiment he wrote this little book about from 28 June 1917 - 1919 retiring as an Oberstleutnant.
