Hi Everybody,

Can anyone help me, can get this collection but because i'm not very familiar with imperial items i'm not too sure if they are authentic.
Any help would be much appreciated and values would come in handy too.

The medal bar lacking the EKII looks OK, as does the other medal. (Cannot recall the name of it )

I will qualify my statement by saying I don't collect Imperial but if offered these I would pass on them.

I would say that both the flying badges are suspect and would appear to be castings with an incorrect pin set up? The EKI appears to have this same pin arrangement too. I am certain this is wrong, as most EKI's feature a broad pin.

Hi,

From the small eBay pics, I'd agree that the two flight badges and EK1 are most likely repros. The rest would be worth Aus$50-70.

The Hindenburg Cross is good. The Medal Bar is good. The 100th Anniversary of Kaiser Wilhelm I 1897 Medal looks like a nice early brass type. The German 10 Pfennig piece looks OK. The Iron Cross, Gunners badge and Veteran Pilot's Badge I would run from. The pins look very cheap and the pitting shouts of poor castings and easy to spot fakes. That's my opinion from these not to detailed eBay pics. Steve
